PLOT
With the aid of a force of formidable creatures known as Saiarks and Choiarks, Queen Mirage, the malevolent ruler of the Phantom Empire, launches her invasion of Earth. Pretty Cures are sent out throughout the world to combat the threat posed by the Phantom Empire. Hime Shirayuki, a princess from the Blue Sky Kingdom that the Phantom Empire conquered, enters the battle as a Pretty Cure dubbed Cure Princess but keeps escaping out of fear. Hime travels to the city of Pikarigaoka and randomly throws the crystal in the air, deciding to team up with whoever it lands upon. She has been given a Crystal of Love by the Spirit of Earth, Blue, and instructed to look for a partner to fight beside her. This individual turns out to be Megumi Aino, a good-natured young woman who is constantly trying to help others, who Hime recruits to battle with her as Cure Lovely. Together with Cure Honey and Cure Fortune, they create the Happiness Charge Pretty Cure team with the mission to gather all of the Pretty Cards and save the Earth from the Phantom Empire. They do this by harnessing the power of the Pretty Cards and their changing forms.
