PLOT
"H2O: Footprints in the Sand" is a drama and romance anime that aired in 2008. It's based on an adult visual novel game of the same name. The story centers around Hirose Takuma, a blind young male high school student, who moves to his mother's home village after her death. Despite his disability, Takuma's friendly and optimistic character allows him to quickly make new friends in the village. Among them, he grows especially close to three girls: Hayami Kohinata, a quiet and socially isolated girl; Hinata Kagura, an energetic and friendly girl; and Otoha, a cheerful and mysterious girl who only appears to Takuma. As Takuma interacts with these girls, he begins to heal emotionally and even starts to regain his sight.
