PLOT
"Digimon Adventure Tri. 2: Ketsui" is the second movie in the "Digimon Adventure Tri." series, which is a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure" and "Digimon Adventure 02" series. The title "Ketsui" translates to "Determination" in English. The movie picks up where the first one left off. After the reappearance of the Digital Monsters (Digimon) in the real world, the original DigiDestined children (now teenagers) are called back into action to combat this new threat. However, they must not only face the aggressive Digimon but also the emotional and psychological impacts of their roles as DigiDestined and the responsibilities that come with it. In "Ketsui," the focus is largely on Mimi Tachikawa and Joe Kido, both original DigiDestined. Mimi is struggling with her brashness and how her actions affect others, while Joe is grappling with the pressure of his studies and his duty as a DigiDestined. As they come to terms with their issues, a new threat emerges, pushing the DigiDestined to their limits.
