PLOT
"Di Gi Charat Nyo" is a sequel to the original "Di Gi Charat" anime series. The series, like the original, is centered on the alien princess Dejiko (also known as Di Gi Charat) who came to Earth to promote the Gamers retail store. "Di Gi Charat Nyo" is a retelling and expansion of the original series, featuring longer episodes and more character development. The plot continues to follow Dejiko, her sidekick Puchiko, and their floating companion Gema. However, it also includes more of Dejiko's backstory and delves into her life on her home planet. The series is known for its unique humor, featuring a mix of slice-of-life comedy, absurd situations, and charmingly ridiculous characters. The art style retains the cute, "chibi" style of the original series.
