PLOT
Devilman, one of the most powerful warriors in the Demon Tribe, is dispatched by Zennon to lead a full-scale invasion of the human world. In the Himalayas, not far from the Demon Tribe's headquarters, he ambushes and kills Akira and his father. He then chooses Akira as his host, reviving him but giving him an erratic and unpredictable streak. Devilman, on the other hand, is subdued by his need to defend Miki Makimura after Akira meets her after returning to Japan and falls in love with her. After deciding to defy his superiors, Devilman engages in a number of battles against enemies dispatched by Zennon and his Demon Generals.
