PLOT
The cities of Japan have been walled off and separated from one another in the distant future. Immigration and tourism are very restricted, if not impossible. An AI moderator is in charge of each region, maintaining its jurisdiction as it deems proper. Every citizen plays their part in upholding the moderator's invention as these clusters are distilled into a single ideal. However, not everyone is content with the constrained perspective of the city they were born in, and as a result, they need some covert assistance moving to a more suitable cluster. Equa, Ferres, and Martese are typical high school students by day, but at night they pretend to be Extractors—those who smuggle individuals illegally across city boundaries. Equa and her companions put their lives in danger to transport individuals who are bold enough to leave all behind and give their clients a second opportunity. But as the cluster moderators become more conscious of the group's acts that jeopardize their idealized utopias, the risks of extraction start to increase.
