PLOT
Yamada Uro, a boy, and Karon, a girl, both 17 years old, are the main characters of the novel. The "Hero Retirement and Return to Everyday Life Assistance Agency," which brings heroes from other planets back to Earth and aids them in reintegrating into daily life, employs both people. Karon, a former hero herself, assists Uro in solving cases and also resides with him. Uro struggles mightily to control Karon's heroic tendencies while also trying to instill more normal conduct in her.
