PLOT
Kanae Otowa has been in her family's ancestral home, Otowakan, ever since her father spent the last of the family fortune and left town. With no way to pay off her father's debts, Otowakan is being foreclosed upon, and Kanae must evict the last three occupants—her friend Sousuke Kagura and two weird individuals who allegedly know her father, Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Both Mozart and Beethoven have been resurrected and have adopted the names "Motes" and "Beethes," respectively, and have started engaging in a variety of foolish, non-musical activities. Beethes uncovers the secret power of Musik while obstinately refusing to leave Otowakan, preserving the community's home from destruction and postponing Beethes' eviction. With this finding, Otowakan attracts the attention of other Musik users, including as Frédéric Chopin, Franz Liszt, and Franz Schubert. However, not all people that employ Musik have good intentions. While contemplating how to use his Musik, the mysterious Johann Sebastian Bach is perched atop a towering building across the city.
