PLOT
Culinary prodigy Ajiyoshi Youichi runs a restaurant with his mother. One day, Murata Genjirou strolls into the eatery and is astounded by the exquisite flavor and culinary finesse of the katsu-don made by Youichi. Youichi is then invited to the Ajiou Building, which is also known as the "taste emperor" building, where he engages in a spaghetti battle with Marui, the on-site Italian chef. Youichi defeats Marui in the competition thanks to his creative culinary ideas and passion for providing the best service possible to his customers. From that point on, Youichi joins a rivalry for the best flavors and cuisines with other competitors.
