PLOT
Kazunari Usa, a high school freshman, will begin living alone because his parents are now employed elsewhere. He anticipates being able to enjoy his teenage years without having to worry about interacting with strangers, excited for his new independent existence. However, as he quickly learns, his new boarding house, Kawai Complex, is anything from ordinary. All of the tenants at Kawai Complex are quite odd people. Shirosaki, Kazunari's roommate, is a pervert and masochist; Mayumi Nishikino, an office worker who is on the verge of intoxication, despises couples because of her bad luck with men; and Sayaka Watanabe, a young woman who appears to be innocent but enjoys leading guys on. Kazunari is about to leave his new apartment because he is shocked by the dearth of nice people there when he meets bashful senior Ritsu Kawai. He soon realizes that he is slowly falling in love with her.
