PLOT
Nanami Takahashi is excited to start her first year of high school and make plenty of new friends. She learns about Yano Motoharu, a popular boy in their class, after meeting the bashful Yuri Yamamoto. Because of his prior relationship with Yano's older sister Nana, Yuri has little affection for Yano, and initially, Nanami doesn't appreciate his attitude either. Yano, however, quickly wins Nanami over and develops a fondness for him. After spending more time together, the two decide to start dating. But there are difficulties in their relationship; Yano finds it difficult to be open with Nanami because his first lover, Nana, died in a car accident the year before and was at the time seeing one of her ex-boyfriends. Nanami and Yano fight to maintain their relationship among misunderstandings and heartache with the confidence of their love for one another as they find themselves living in the shadow of Yano's connection with Nana.
