PLOT
A Japanese high school student named Tokidoki is sent to a high-tech history museum that realistically recreates the Edo era to complete make-up work after failing his history class. But after being attacked by two mystical monsters known as "the nue" and "the yakou," he loses the vision in his left eye, making what was intended to be a straightforward school project much more difficult. He becomes aware that he is no longer wearing the simulation goggles and is entrapped in the digital Edo when a girl named Kuchiha saves him from the nue. Sensai Corporation, the virtual reality business that created the virtual museum that Tokidoki is imprisoned in, is visible in the real world throughout the narrative.
