PLOT
Dan Bashin and the other light bearers of the cores rescued the planet two years ago. Dan no longer finds fire in the banality of routine card fights despite having once risked his life in Grand Rolo's conflict. When Dan wants to go up against more powerful opponents, Mai Shinomiya approaches him. She offers to take him to the future, where Dan's strength will be required in a brand-new conflict. The two come in the year 2650, when mankind and an extraterrestrial race called the "Mazoku" are engaged in a war for dominance that has decimated civilization. The seasoned light bearers are destined to run against one other once more as humanity starts to fall apart under the control of the Mazoku. Dan and the other warriors are once more required to carry the weight of humanity on their shoulders, this time armed with fresh cards from the future.
