PLOT
Richard Plantagenet has spent his entire life working to build the strength necessary to stand with his father, the Duke of York, in battle. To retake the English throne from King Henry VI and the House of Lancaster, they have engaged in battle together. The bitter voices in his thoughts never cease to remind the young Richard of the secret that his mother scorns him for. He is lucky to find comfort in the warmth of his father's affection despite his own struggle.
