PLOT
The narrative centers on Yoshiko Hanabatake, a high school student, and her daily activities. She is well recognized for being exceptionally socially and academically ignorant, true to the term. Yoshiko's mother wants her to marry Akuru Akutsu, a serious and studious neighbor who she frequently spends out with and irritates. Yoshiko befriends the cool-headed Sayaka Sumino, who works with Akuru to try and rein in Yoshiko. Although the Public Morals Chairwoman despises the outgoing Yoshiko, she develops feelings for him after he casually compliments her and starts stalking him while suppressing her lewd impulses. Yoshiko also makes friends with a delinquent named Ryuichi Kurosaki, a group of playground children, a group of gyaru, as well as some other students and members of the faculty. Ryuichi Kurosaki views Yoshiko as a gang leader.
