PLOT
Some workplaces have stereotyped dynamics, such as the chauvinistic pig of a boss who never completes any real work, the employees who aim to please the boss, the people whose lives appear to be flawless, and the people who get assigned all of the actual work. Retsuko the red panda, who stays up late most nights to finish the work her teammates are too lazy to accomplish themselves, is in the last group. Her escape from the pressures of daily life is singing death metal at a nearby karaoke bar. Retsuko uses a microphone to express her sorrow each night, viewing the space as her own private haven. However, when she ventures further from her comfort zone and the perceptions that others have of her, she learns that allowing others access to her death metal world may not be such a bad thing.
