PLOT
Many areas around Japan have adopted their own local "action heroines" in response to the success of a particular city's, presenting numerous live action hero events to advertise their towns. High school student Misaki Shirogane is the niece of the mayor of Hinano City, which is struggling financially as a result of its waning popularity. After seeing Ann Akagi and Mikan Kise, two of her classmates, do an amateur hero show, Misaki signs them up for the Action Heroine Project, where they become local heroes and put on live performances to energize their community.
