PLOT
The "Breakdown Phenomenon"—the devastation of Arata Kasuga's community and the disappearance of its residents—occurred when the brilliant happened sun ceased shining one day. All is not yet lost, though, as Arata can artificially restore his reality by using the magical grimoire that his cousin and boyhood friend Hijiri Kasuga gave to him. Lilith Asami appears before Arata to study the phenomenon, and then his manufactured world abruptly crumbles. He is offered the option to either turn in the book or pass away. Arata decides to enroll in the Royal Biblia Academy, a top-secret magic school where six other magical users are waiting for him, instead of the first two options. These six people make up the Trinity Seven, the top students in the school who each amplify their own strength and ability, along with Lilith. Arata does everything in his power to stop the destruction of his beloved hometown and to bring his best buddy back with the aid of his newfound friends and the desire to save Hijiri.
