PLOT
The 20th century saw a major conflict between humanity and monsters. Since then, the monsters have terrorized the world while remaining largely hidden from the public's eyes. Bokka, a little boy, muses about the past and wonders what happened to the Meros Warriors, who heroically guarded the Earth from the monsters. Kurofune is soon encountered by him, and he discovers the might of the Meros and the I-bar machines they use in warfare. The Melody of Oblivion, a phantom girl hidden away waiting to be rescued and serve as humanity's salvation, can only be seen and heard by warriors. Bokka learns something only he could have imagined in his wildest nightmares during a struggle between Kurofune and a demon: he, too, can hear that tune. Bokka encounters numerous monsters along with their servants, allies, and allies as he explores the full range of his new abilities. In order to release Boukyaku no Senritsu and set free a world that has lost its once-beautiful music, he must keep fighting the good fight.
