PLOT
Fifth-grader Shunichi Domoto is a boy. Due of his athletic talent, he frequently supports the sports teams at his school. In a Yoyo duel with a bully child named Benkei Musashimaru, his pal Beso Kimura lost and asked Shunichi for assistance. Benkei is challenged to a Yoyo duel, which Shunichi wins. After that, he was challenged by Seito Hojoin, a particularly talented Yoyoer, and lost because he made fun of the game. Shunichi enters the Japanese Yoyo championship in an effort to exact retribution for his defeat by Seito. During this Championship, he picks up new Yoyo Skills, makes new friends, and faces off against formidable opponents.
