PLOT
One of the fastest and most sophisticated race cars ever created by humans is the Mach 5. Anyone who would dare race against it would face a battle because to its assortment of electronics and potent engine. Gou Mifune, a teen who aspires to enter the world of professional racing, is the driver of this incredible machine. Despite this, Gou's father, Daisuke Mifune, who invented the Mach 5, does not want his son to be anywhere near a racetrack. As Gou pursues his goal of becoming the greatest racer of all time, his girlfriend Michi, younger brother Kurio, and Kurio's monkey companion Sanpei grow to be his biggest supporters. But Gou quickly discovers that becoming a professional racer is not simple. Gou must overcome a number of challenges before reaching the finish line, from the sneaky schemes of dishonest businesspeople to fierce rivalry in the form of Racer X.
