PLOT
The show will center on a group of high school lads who compete in "skate-leading," a made-up kind of competitive figure skating. Maeshima Kensei, who is just 11 years old, quits figure skating after an embarrassing defeat to his (unrequited) competitor. Five years later, he is struggling in school and in life, being pursued by numerous sports teams but not committing to any, until he learns that Shinozaki Reo, a former rival who is now a skating legend, has switched from singles skating to the new team-oriented skating style known as "Skate Leading." He then joins the competition against Shinozaki with the assistance of Shinozaki's half-brother Hayato Sasugai, who harbors animosity toward Shinozaki, and students from Ionodai High School's skate leading club.
