PLOT
The main characters of the series are Mondo Ooya and his classmate and girlfriend Rockna Hiiragi (Rokuna in the Japanese version), whose scientist father Professor Ichiroubei Hiiragi developed a method of traveling to Mon World (Roku Mon Sekai: the Six Gate World), where various magical creatures reside. They search for six monster items that, when united, could open a portal between Earth and the Six Gate World for the benefit of both realms. The Mon Colle Knights were founded by Rokuna and Mondo after they discovered that they could control monsters in battle and merge with them by chanting the slogan "With us, you can accomplish it!" They face off against Prince Eccentro, a rival of Professor Hiiragi (Count Collection in the Japanese version), and his two female lieutenants, Gluko and Batch (Goruko and Bachi in the Japanese version), who are pursuing the same objectives as the Mon Colle Knights but with the intention of using the objects to rule over both worlds.
