PLOT
The Hanzo Academy is a renowned prep school with a secret that only a few people are aware of. Shinobi, skilled spies and assassins who centuries before had served the shoguns for their political and military needs, are being trained inside its gates. Asuka, who is carefree, Katsuragi, who is fierce but perverse, Hibari, who is gentle and innocent, Yagyuu, who is stoic and protective, and Ikaruga, who is mature and the class representative, are some of the five young female trainees who are carrying on the tradition today. These five girls' journey to complete their shinobi training is described in Senran Kagura. However, the journey swiftly turns into something more difficult than they anticipated as a darker, more dangerous bunch of shinobi emerge. They are not only aware of the female students at the Hanzo Academy, but they also appear to be determined to prove they are the best shinobi of the modern era. Asuka and her friends must overcome this new challenge by developing their talents, utilizing the power of their hidden scrolls to perform shinobi transformations, and cooperating as a team. Not only for the sake of their education, but also for the sake of everything the Hanzo Academy represents.
