In the trading card game WIXOSS, players compete against one another utilizing fighters called LRIGs and cards as assistance. The girls chosen to use certain LRIGs are known as "Selectors" (Serekut), and they are able to speak with their masters. Selectors can have any wish come true by defeating other Selectors in battle, but if they lose three times, their wish will be reversed into a curse.
