PLOT
Twelve-year-old Mitsuki Koyama hopes to pursue a career in music so she can get back together with her first love, Eichi Sakurai. She suffers from sarcoma (a malignant tumor in her throat), which impairs her capacity for deep breathing and loud singing. Only a surgery that could harm her voice cords can remove her tumor. Her grandma despises music and is vehemently opposed to Mitsuki's desire to apply. The dreams of Mitsuki seemed unattainable until Takuto and Meroko, two shinigami that only she could see, came to visit. By accident, Takuto and Meroko inform Mitsuki that she has just one year to live.
