PLOT
Hanabi Yasuraoka, a high school girl, fell in love with Narumi Kanai, a more senior childhood acquaintance who is now her homeroom teacher. Hanabi learns that Narumi is in love with Akane and not the new music teacher Akane Minagawa from the expression in his eyes when he sees her. Hanabi meets Mugi Awaya, a fellow pupil who has fallen head over heels for Akane, the tutor he had in middle school. To alleviate their individual feelings of sexual and emotional loneliness resulting from unfulfilled loves, Hanabi and Mugi agree to collaborate and start a pretend relationship. If their love is reciprocated by the individuals they are in love with, they agree to stop loving each other and end the relationship.
