PLOT
During the Bakumatsu of the Edo period, when the Tokugawa shogunate's foundations were starting to tremble, a young author by the name of Momosuke set out to compile a collection of 100 ghost stories. He discovers the mysterious group known as the Ongyou while researching ancient myths and stories. They are detectives who are delving into the legends to uncover their reality and hold those responsible accountable. Every time Momosuke encounters the Ongyou, he is forced to confront terrible facts, wrestle with his principles, and witness things he shouldn't be witnessing.
