PLOT
A space opera/space western called Outlaw Star is based in the imagined "Towards Stars Era" cosmos. An asteroid that contained the substance "dragonite" crashed in the fictitious Arashon desert in northern China. Researchers discovered that the dragonite has characteristics of "ether," an energy source that would enable spaceships to travel faster than the speed of light and quickly cover vast distances in the cosmos. Pirates, assassins, and outlaws started to pose a menace to humanity's new frontier as new colonies were established throughout the wide regions of space. The Earth Federation established the USSA, Einhorn, Piotr, and Tenpa empires to bring about order. However, internal power struggles within the factions and interpersonal disputes increase, which inevitably results in lawlessness. Shortly after notorious criminal "Hot Ice" Hilda escapes from the Kei Pirates, a division of the Tin'Pa, the plot begins. A highly developed prototype ship named the XGP15A-II and a suitcase carrying Melfina, the sole bio-android capable of interacting with the ship, were taken from them by Hilda.
