PLOT
The events of My-Otome take place on the planet Earl, which was inhabited by people from Earth millennia ago, in the far-off future. Nanomachines, which enable female virgins to assume the role of Meister Otomes — bodyguards, attendants, and warriors who serve the rulers of many kingdoms — are examples of "old technology" that has persisted. Arika Yumemiya, who is aware that her mother was an Otome, traveled to Windbloom Kingdom in pursuit of her. When she gets there, she meets Mashiro Blan de Windbloom, the heir to the crown of Windbloom, and Nina Wáng, the top Coral Otome student. The show tracks Arika's academic development at Garderobe Academy as well as the schemes of individuals seeking to use the catastrophic potential of the antiquated technology for personal gain.
