PLOT
"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny" is the sequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," part of the sprawling Gundam franchise. The series takes place two years after the end of the Bloody Valentine War depicted in the original "SEED" series. The story revolves around Shinn Asuka, a new member of ZAFT (Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty), who is driven by a deep-seated hatred against the Earth Alliance, who he blames for the death of his family. Equipped with the powerful new Impulse Gundam, Shinn finds himself at the center of escalating hostilities between the nations of the Earth and the space colonies. At the same time, characters from the original series, like Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala, also play significant roles as they try to prevent the world from spiraling back into the devastation of war.
