PLOT
It follows Maria, one of the most potent witches of her day, who is set during the Hundred Years' War in France. In order to aid the populace and preserve peace, she intervenes between the warring nations by utilizing her succubus and incubus familiars to influence the opposing groups and create massive illusions. She as a result won the respect of a few peasants and the wrath of the Church, which views her as a heretic. Maria, however, is still virgin, and her own familiars make fun of her for it. Archangel Michael concentrates on Maria and disapproves of her meddling in human matters as word of her deeds spreads. Michael finally rules that Maria would lose her magical abilities if she loses her virginity and prevents her from using magic in public, sending an angel by the name of Ezekiel to enforce this ruling after a direct encounter.
