PLOT
Fujoshi (female otaku) Kae Serinuma enjoys reading yaoi and envisioning males in romantic relationships, both imagined and actual. Kae is so shocked when one of her favorite anime characters is killed off that she secludes herself in her room for a full week. When she eventually exits, she notices that she has significantly lost weight. Four boys at her school, Ysuke Igarashi, Nozomu Nanashima, Hayato Shinomiya, and Asuma Mutsumi, notice her when she grows more attractive. The four males and another fujoshi named Shima Nishina fall for Kae despite learning about her strange inclinations, and they all start vying for her attention, much to Kae's chagrin as she wants them to fall in love with each other.
