PLOT
"Jubei-chan 2: The Counterattack of Siberia Yagyu" is the second season of the "Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl" anime series. Like the first season, it combines elements of comedy, action, and historical drama in a unique package. The story continues the tale of Jiyu Nanohana, a high school girl who was given the Lovely Eyepatch, which transforms her into the reincarnation of the legendary samurai Yagyu Jubei. The second season introduces Freesia, a girl from Siberia who also claims to be Yagyu Jubei's rightful successor. In "The Counterattack of Siberia Yagyu," Jiyu once again dons the Lovely Eyepatch to protect her friends and town from those who would harm them. Meanwhile, she also has to deal with Freesia and navigate the complexities of her teenage life.
