PLOT
The imaginary city of Orario is the setting for the narrative. The city is home to some gods who, in search of adventure, decided to curtail their heavenly abilities in order to share in the struggles of humans who live in the mortal world. Each deity keeps a retinue of explorers and support staff known as a Familia made up of citizens of the city. Exploring the Dungeon, a labyrinth beneath the city, is what these organizations do most often in order to fight monsters and collect the crystal shards they drop when they are killed. These shards can be directly exchanged for the world's money, but they are also utilized to create magic goods and other treasures. The strength of an adventurer is measured by their level and a variety of ability scores, as is customary in role-playing games. An adventurer can raise their level and ability scores, as well as acquire unique abilities known as talents, by taking out increasingly difficult creatures.
