PLOT
Tylor, the titular character, is a strange young man without a true purpose in life, a state of mind that is very difficult to discern, and a knack for unintentionally escaping dangerous situations with a childishly carefree attitude in a distant, highly advanced future. Even when he is in danger, he sometimes doesn't seem to know it, which is often to his advantage. After settling a hostage situation and rescuing a retired admiral, Tylor stumbles his way into the United Planets Space Force and quickly ascends to the position of destroyer commander. Tylor destroys a patrol group despite being issued a worn-out and weak ship (the Soyokaze), all thanks to amazing coincidences. Then, while Tylor was doing the part of a perfect, professional soldier, he launched a sneak attack on another patrol squad. In an effort to murder Tylor, the admiralty gives him a medal that has been changed with a mechanism that deceives the Raalgon fleet into thinking the Soyokaze is an entire fleet. In UPSF HQ, Tylor misplaces the medal, and the Raalgons obliterate the admiralty's superweapon in its place.
