PLOT
Teenage girl Tamaki Kasuga returns to the little town she once knew as a youngster and becomes entangled in her family's past and the paranormal threats that surround it. When Tamaki is waiting for the person her grandmother hired to bring her to the hamlet, she comes across a small, white circular item with sticks for limbs that can talk as she walks around the hillsides. Soon after, Tamaki chases it as it flees away. Tamaki soon discovers herself in a setting that does not feel like the one she left behind. She is attacked by three slimy monsters, and when a mysterious guy rushes to her aid, he orders her to keep quiet. She is led to the village where her grandmother is staying by the young guy, who has been identified as Takuma Onizaki, after he has saved her. She meets with her grandmother not long after she arrives. Later it is revealed that she must continue to play the part of the Tamayori Princess, an ancestor, in order to seal the sword Onikirimaru with the aid of her five Guardians.
