PLOT
The year is 526 according to the liturgical calendar. Although magic is still a mystery, witches and their wizardry are well-known across the country. A mercenary who is half-man, half-beast who is despised by the general public dreams day and night of becoming a human. His dreams, however, become a reality after a disastrous encounter with a witch by the name of Zero. If he will accompany her as her guard as she searches for a mystical tome that has potent knowledge that could cause disaster in the wrong hands, she offers to transform him human. It is the year 526 of the Liturgical calendar. The two set off on their journey with this formal arrangement, with the mercenary acting as Zero's defender even though he despises her race.
