PLOT
The narrative of Flame of Recca centers on a young man named Recca Hanabishi who is fascinated by ninjas and considers himself to be one. He frequently gets into fights because he declared in front of everyone that the victor will have his services as a devoted ninja. Despite this, he ultimately swears his allegiance and ninja skills to Yanagi Sakoshita due of her compassion and generosity. Yanagi is a girl who has the intrinsic power to heal any wound or injury. Soon after learning that he has the intrinsic power to manipulate or control flames, Recca realizes that he is actually the sixth generation head of the Hokage, a ninja clan that was exterminated in 1576—roughly 400 years before the events of the series—and the son of its leader.
