PLOT
Hina Tsurugi and her family recently relocated to a peaceful seaside town. Hina, who is trying to enjoy the serene seaside view, meets Yuuki Kuroiwa, an upperclassman at her new school, who offers Hina to go fishing with her. Hina reels in an octopus that lands on her; because she is terrified of bugs and large animals, she panics and asks Yuuki to get rid of it. This presents Yuuki with the chance to persuade Hina into joining the school's Breakwater Club, whose primary purpose is to gather, catch, and consume various forms of marine life. Hina makes no successful attempts to refuse to participate, but she gradually learns to enjoy fishing more. Her perspective on the activity shifts as she looks forward to all the fun activities she can enjoy with the other club members.
