PLOT
Some people have the ability to use magic to manipulate energies that are beyond human knowledge and present their souls as weapons. They are referred as Blazers, and individuals who are identified as such can enroll in academies for training to become Mage-Knights. Despite being the weakest student at Hagun Academy and an F-ranked Blazer—the lowest rank there can be—Ikki Kurogane aspires to become a Mage-Knight. He unintentionally discovers Stella Vermillion, a visiting princess and A-ranked Blazer who has recently enrolled at Hagun, when she is undressed one morning. She then challenges him to a duel, promising to make the loser the winner's slave. Stella appears to be the clear winner, but is there more to Ikki than meets the eye? In Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry, Stella helps Ikki in his heroic quest to win a tournament that will put him one step closer to realizing his aspirations. Together, they will demonstrate how perseverance may help people overcome restrictions.
