PLOT
The show centers around Chrono Shindou, a middle school boy who has chosen a life filled with loneliness and constant boredom. When he discovers a Gear Chronicle deck in his school locker, everything changes. Cardfighting is ready to enter a new generation. Chrono Shindou is a typical middle school student. Despite his intimidating appearance, he has a good heart and is adored by children. One day, Chrono enters his locker and discovers a Gear Chronicle Cardfight deck that no one has ever heard of. Chrono takes it to a local card store called Card Capital 2, where he encounters Kamui Katsuragi. Shion Kiba and Tokoha Anjou, who will soon be comrades, are among the new friends and rivals Chrono makes after learning how to play the game from Kamui.
