"Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls" (Basilisk: Ouka Ninpouchou) is an anime series that serves as a sequel to the original "Basilisk" anime. Set 10 years after the brutal war between the Kouga and Iga ninja clans depicted in the original series, the story introduces a new generation of ninjas. In "The Ouka Ninja Scrolls," the descendants of the Kouga and Iga clans, Hachirou Kouga and Hibiki Iga, carry on the feud of their predecessors. Raised with the intention of renewing hostilities between the clans, they instead find themselves drawn to each other. However, external forces, such as a shogun's desire to harness their powers and the revival of an ancient evil entity, push them towards conflict. They must navigate these pressures and determine their own paths while dealing with their inherited destiny and their burgeoning feelings for each other.
