PLOT
The existence of humanity was in danger fifty years ago when mysterious monsters known as the "Huge" suddenly emerged everywhere. Soldiers in the shape of adolescent girls known as "Lilies" use the magic energy "Magie" contained within their bodies to power weapons known as "Counter Huge ARMS" or "CHARMS" to combat these threats. Two years ago, Riri Hitotsuyanagi was saved by a Lily as she fled from a Huge attack and made a promise to turn into a Lily. When she enrols in the famous Yurigaoka academy, a Lily training facility, she learns that one of her classmates is Yuyu Shirai, the Lily who saved her. To her surprise, however, she discovers that the person she assumed to be joyful is actually quite antisocial and prefers to fight by themselves. Nonetheless, Riri still wants to be friends with Yuyu and is willing to do everything to achieve that aim. Riri's path to becoming one of the Lilies has just begun, and she has Yuyu and the other Lilies by her side.
