PLOT
A little girl in a mask sings a wistful tune every day as she waits on the shore. Nino Arisugawa has been singing to the sea ever since she and two childhood friends—her first love, Momo Sakaki, and a lad who wrote music, Kanade "Yuzu" Yuzuriha—made a vow after experiencing hearth-wrenching partings. Although they had never met, the boys made a separate pledge that if Nino was ever separated from them, her voice would serve as the beacon to bring them back together. Finally, after six arduous years, Nino, Momo, and Yuzu are all registered at the same high school thanks to fate. The passage of time has, however, brought many changes in their lives. While Momo goes to great lengths to prevent a reunion with Nino, Yuzu's feelings for her from the past come to the surface, and Nino tirelessly tries to fulfill her childhood promise with the boys. Will they be able to overcome all the emotions associated with this complex love triangle through music and restore their friendship?
