PLOT
In a dystopian future when Kansai is a vassal state of Kant, a group of highly competent criminals known as Akudama receive a request from an unnamed customer to save Cutthroat from execution by releasing him first. In response to the challenge, four Akudama enter the Kansai Police Headquarters in hopes of winning a large sum of money. Once inside, they learn that the assignment was part of a broader plan by their client to force them to collaborate on a more difficult task: to hack into the Shinkansen and take valuable goods from a vault at the head of the train. A regular girl who was arrested on a minor charge but forced to maintain the appearance of a swindler and a low-level hoodlum who was unintentionally let out of jail during the initial heist are roped into the task. To complete the operation and receive their big reward, the squad must cooperate while avoiding the Executioners from the Kansai Police who are on their trail.
