PLOT
Air in Summer is an expansion of the Summer Arc from the anime series, in which Kanna, Ryuuya, and Uraha wanted to find Kanna's mother. While maintaining the majority of the original sequences, it adds additional events that occurred along the route,like fleeing from pursuers. A young priestess named Kannabi no Mikoto is one of the last remaining mystical winged beings in the world, according to an a thousand-year-old tale. She unfortunately possesses a terrible curse that forces her to die and rebirth every time she gets too close to someone. Due to her feared abilities, Kanna was imprisoned in her own temple and was not even permitted to visit her own mother, who was in a situation identical to hers. However, during her lonely times, Kanna fell in love with Ryuya, one of her guards, and the three of them managed to escape with the aid of Uruha, one of Kanna's maids. Will Kanna be able to survive the search for her mother?
