PLOT

After the supposed death of its 99th emperor, the Holy Britannian Empire disintegrated, and its territories regained independence. While most of these regions joined the United Federation of Nations, a group dedicated to lasting peace, remnants of the oppressive empire persist. One such faction, Neo-Britannia, has seized control of Japan's Hokkaido island, murdering its governor, Juugo Sumeragi. The Seven Shining Stars, a resistance group in Hokkaido, finds itself in a dire situation as it struggles to overcome Neo-Britannia. In a desperate move, they seek the assistance of the Nameless Mercenaries: brothers Rozé, a brilliant strategist, and Ash, an outstanding Knightmare pilot. Despite being Britannian, Rozé and Ash have earned a reputation for protecting the Japanese and eliminating the empire's officials. With their help, the resistance hopes to reclaim their territory and prevent a return to tyranny.
