Tales of Wedding Rings is about two very different worlds. One is modern Japan and the other is the Kingdom of Earlshide, where magic and fantastical beings live. At the center of the story are two high school students, Satou Hakuto and Himemiya Kokoro. One day Hakuto is suddenly teleported to the Earlshide Kingdom, where he learns that Kokoro is his princess. Kokoro must find the three "Wedding Rings" to save her country, and Hakuto is chosen to protect her in this mission.
