The Legendary Hero Is Dead! is on its way to becoming an anime! The release date is set for April 7, 2023!

Hell's Gate, a gateway that the Demon Lord formerly used to enter the realm of humans, is located far to the north of the planet. The Gate was sealed off and the demonic danger was defeated thanks to the great hero Shion Bladearts, wielder of Excalibur, and his devoted group of allies.
Sadly, the seal was not complete and has started to deteriorate, allowing the demons to resume their onslaught. Touka Scott, a selfish and perverse farmer, creates hazards to fend off the demons out of concern for the protection of his hamlet. Shion is on his way to reseal Hell's Gate and preserve humanity, so do not be alarmed.
The fabled hero has since perished after falling into one of the traps Touka dug, so he was at least alive. Thankfully, necromancer Anri Haynesworth specializes in coping with the dead. Even though she can't save him, Anri can still complete their mission by putting Touka's soul inside Shion's dead body and dragging him to Hell's Gate in lieu of Shion. Yuna Yunis, Touka's childhood companion, comes along because she doesn't want to be left behind. The three of them set out as what may be the most inappropriate group to ever attempt to save the planet together!

The Legendary Hero is Dead manga is getting an anime adaptation! The adaptation anime will be out on April 7, 2023 as confirmed by Pony Canyon and the animations for the anime series is being prepared by LIDENFILMS!
The cast and a trailers are also revealed for the anime series! There are many known names such as Shunichi Toki. So go brace yourself for a comedy of a lifetime!
